Hey! It has been QUITE a long time since i have updated. I'm busy! *ahem!*lame excuse... Anyway, here i am studying nursing now, that is EN in Adelaide at tafe, but classes are held in my hostel. That's obviously convenient. Quite a few things had happened since i last wrote. As they say, a picture says a thousand words. Saves me a lot of time to just upload pics then type. Ish. There's plenty more photos to upload but a dialogue box came out saying : Your maximum space has been exceeded. O=, Ish, well then, as least we have some photos dont we?

THis Chinese New Year had been an eventful one. Really.
First, i've finally done my hair n got new specs. In addition to that, my dad got a new laptop from his school. Good things all come at once.
I hate it!

But sometimes i cant stop myself.

Leaving that aside, SPM results are expected to be released on the 12th of March, which is eleven days from now. It's funny coz at first the rumours say it will come out on the 28 of Feb , then it shifted to the 11 of March. Now, when The Star finally mentioned a date of release, my fren said that the government seldom release the results on Monday, which is the 12th of March. hm...
so, I hope that they would prolong the release of ther results, cause the closing date of application for Nanyang polytechinic is the 16th of March. Yup, im going to Singapore to study dentisry, FINALLY! a decision made, which made both me and my family happy. Coz my parents oni hav to pay 30% of the school fee due to the tuition grant. Condition? i have to work in Singapore for 3 years but im not bonded to the government, as in i have to pay them back. A worthy deal.
School term starts 16th of april.

It's crazy!
The size of a poly in Singapore is about 30 to 35 acres, (i tink, or izit hectres? ), and is even bigger than mmu that my sis abd bro used to study in in West Malaysia. Heck, it even has a swimming pool, 8 badminton courts, sepak takraw ,squash, tennis etc...
come on lah...Malaysia is how many million times bigger than Singapore?

So, Back to CNY again. This year my aunt came back earlier then expected while E Tio and DJ came back on the second day of New Year. My frens and i went new year visitng and had a grat time visitng from 9 sthg in the morning till 9sthg at nite. We were a little xiao playing mahjong. Besides that, there's the reunion dinner.
Besides angpaus and saying Happy New Year to whoever comes to your house, That just about round about this year's PIGGY new year.

Yikes! i closed my eyes in this pic. This was taken at the corner shop at Padungan there. From left to right, Yoong Man (a young man), my sis, me, my mom, my dad, my bro, and Angie.
My sis gonna get married end of this year in december. The wedding nite is gonna be held in Kuching first, den fly over to KL to have another dinner and the tea drinking ceremony.

Imagine that u r watching dvd alone in your room at the wee hours of the morning, as in 1 or 2 am. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, crawls out a pretty big spider with really long legs on the wall near the edge of your bed... ... It's really freaky.
I tried not too think too much bout the freaky spider and after calming myself down, took a closer look at it before it ran and hid under my table. So i concluded that it was afraid of humans - that gave me some peace as it won't crawl near of over me while im asleep. Still, i was terrified and dreamt of it the whole night, i dreamt it changed from its dull brown colour to a menacing purplish colour and was actually staring at me. ill.

Now that happened a few days ago and my fear of it has subsided. phew.
Chinese new year's coming and everyone's busy spring cleaning. Well, that doesn't rally apply to me as laziness usually takes the better of me ...hehe...
We went new year shopping last saturday and wow, there sure is hell of a lot of new year goodies out there, tons of them pilling up.
my mom and me made seaweed snacks the other day. it quite fun doing actually. Just sandwich a piece of dried seaweed between popiah skin, make the seaweed stick by applying some egg white, which acts as the glue. on the other hand, we also made fruit cake. Only  Yoong Man koko, my grandma and my mom likes to eat fruit cake. I only like it if its just out of the oven or out of the fridge.
Btw ,American Idol really rocks! the auditions are really funny. Are americans really like that? There's so many weird people in America...heh...
Well, if there's something im missing out here ,that will have to wait till my next entry. Till then,

Most people would have a really difficult time deciding which college to go to. I've been through that stage( fortunately) and made up my mind that Taylor's is the best choice. The unfortunate part is that its costly. My parents who are the one who holds the purse strings, think that going to any college to study a-levels is the same, coz at the end of the day u will still get the same certificate. I say, Quality and the Name of the college is more important. Urgh...if the world were a simplier place, i would have gone for the January intake already. :-|

So, the days after SPM were indeed a bliss forme. No homework, no teachers, no school, no tuition, no nothing. Indeed, i think it is too much of a bliss for me. To makeu guys and gals understand this better, let me list out my daily schedule...

a typical Monday

10.30, wake up to watch Taiwan series

11.30, laze around, sometimes cook or do some sweeping or washing or reading

2.00, watch tv of dvd again or go online

5.00 watch anime till 6.00

laze aroud again or do some exercise

7 to 9 watch angel lovers then afterwards Taiwan series till 10

continue swtiching channels or sleep..
